The layout took first place in the Operating S-scale, second in the Novelty, and second place in the Memorabilia categories at the show. While my wife and I were disappointed we did not take first in all categories and Best Of Show, the public really reaffirmed OUR judgment by the amount of time they spent at our layout and the multitude of glorifying comments we received. So much for the official judges ( they really liked the Legos).
