City Street - Crowded with Buildings!

My city street. Various  Plasticville buildings including the Corner Store & Schoolhouse (left), and part of a Train Station and Firehouse (right).

I have worked hard to get away from the residential neighborhood look that the All Aboard Sets have as they came from Gilbert, having only houses. I am trying to build a complete All Aboard community where people live, work and play.

One of Robert West's Prints used as a Backdrop

My layout is up against windows, rather than a wall. The Santa Fe background here is a print of Robert West's. His web site is at http://www.trainpaintings.com  I have several prints from him that I got at the October 2001 York Train Show. He has pictures of his prints on the web site, but be warned, that the thumbnails that he has there do not do them justice at all. You have to see one of these prints in person to really appreciate how wonderful they look! My wife has told me that I "have" to get these framed.

Notice the Plasticville Factory in the bottom right corner. This is one of my favorite pieces I have added to my All Aboard layout. Many of the residents of my town work here.
